Since 1993, the Northside Planning Council (NPC) has had the privilege of facilitating and supporting the great work of many Northside leaders through relationship-building, community-based economic development and civic engagement.
Why does the work of NPC matter?
- It’s about fostering local food sovereignty and an abundant, efficient local food system.
- It’s about keeping the wealth, natural resources and talent of our community in the hands of its members.
- It’s about pursuing equity in all of our actions, decisions, and programs.
- It’s about building diverse leadership at a local level, which then trickles up to the city, state and federal levels.
- It’s about building trust and investment in each other in order to make our community a safer place.
